Raquel Amat Parra

'm a professional Spanish artist who has studied Fine Arts in the University of Fine Arts of San Carlos in Valencia, Spain and performed a Printmaking MA at Eugeniusz Gepper Academy of Fine Art and Design in Wroclaw, Poland.

My work brings audiences through the techniques of lithography to Japanese mokulito and different forms of artist books, book installations and ceramics. There is deep analysis of  the human condition and limits of reality; an influence that come for my passion for surrealism and philosophy, topics based of my work which continue to surprise the viewer and transport him to the hidden world of the human subconscious.

I have been working with different forms of printmaking in Spain, Poland, Ireland and Germany.  Most recently I received the International Residency Award by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and was invited to perform this program at Guanlan Original Printmaking Base in Guandong, Shenzhen, China.
